...of the old skinners are still around?
I don't have as much time as I'd like to have to devote to skinning anymore. But still, every so often I browse the boards and see what's going on. I'm noticing that there are fewer and fewer of the people I "grew up" with when I was still skinning. I was just wondering how many of you guys are still around?

Well, I finally got a new computer that can support ODNT. So I got that yesterday and dusted off my old copy of PS7.

What I want to know, before I go out and get the latest version of PS, is do I really need it right now? How much has changed in the last few releases? Are the changes worth the money yet, or should I wait a while and see what comes next? I haven't done much reading on it yet cause I wanted to see what people who are actually using it right now think.

Any one know of a program (that will run on win98) that will make your desktop icons look faded?

How many people are still using win98? I was just wondering cause I just realized how awful some of the skins made just for Win XP look on an older OS.

I found it once, but I don't remember where. I think it was a link someone posted here. Does anywhere remember where the program for taking the "IE provided by" branding off the IE titlebar came from?

thanks in advance....

Well, looks like I won't be around for a while. I'm finally moving out of my mother's house (about 9 years later than I should have... hehe), and I can't take the computer with me .

I might be able to check the message board once in a while from the library computers, but I won't be doing any skinning for a while. While I was cleaning out my files on the computers, I decided I couldn't bear to just delete all the stuff I started, but never finished, over the last couple years, so I uploaded most of it to the graphics section for anyone here who wants to just play around or something.

See you all around sometime.
Of course, I'll be back as soon as I save up the money for a new computer *s*.

Ok, I'm working on a skin, and the only font I have that I like with it is Charlesworth, but that's a corel font, which means I can't distriubte it with the skin. Does anyone know of a freeware font that is similar to Charlesworth? If not, does anyone have any suggestions for a font that would look good on this skin http://sylva.koasati.net/Forbiddenfonthelp.jpg ?

Thanks in advance.......

Your little kamikaze bird ain't got nothing on this squirrel that keeps coming around my house.

You see, he knows that the dog is on a chain when he is outside. So what does this squirrel do? He runs around just a foot or so outside of Tuck's reach so that Tuck goes absolutely wild trying to get to him. And if that isn't bad enough, when Tuck is inside the house, that brazen little long puffy tailed rat actually has the nerve to perch himself on the deck railing so that Tuck sees him sitting there and barks _constantly_ while jumping at the patio door. When Tuck finally settles down, the dang thing actually walks up to the door and sits there until he hears Tuck scratch at the door again, then he goes right back to the railing to nibble on whatever little treats he's found, occasionally staring through the door to be sure Tuck isn't walking away yet.

If Tuck doesn't get that squirrel soon, I will!
